Frank Christian, with help from his father, Ralph, buys out the Crawfordsville Casket Co. in Crawfordsville, Indiana, and produces a full line of metal and hardwood caskets. Ralph had founded Merit Hardware Company and had become well known for quality Casket hardware, and all-metal casket designs.
Plant and offices located at 309 W. Pike Street. To manufacture burial caskets that meet with satisfactory approval throughout the country has been the success of the Crawfordsville Casket Co. There are few people who are not familiar with this firm as one of the industrial organizations whose management has been at all times active in promoting the development of the community. Production of good quality caskets has been the fundamental basis of their concern for their wide experience early taught them by making a quality product they would please all. Then they developed a system of production that enables them to maintain the highest quality. We deem it most fitting and proper that we make a special mention of them. We want to aid you in appreciating what an important part it plays in the life of the community.
