Coleman Food Lockers

Coleman Food Lockers, located here succeeded in having one of its own cured hams entered in the National Ham Show which is being held in conjunction with the National Frozen Food Locker Convention at the Sherman Hotel in Chicago. This annual event features hundreds of the finest locker plant cured hams in the nation and is designed to select the outstanding hams in four classes - heavy country style, light country style, heavy commercial style and light commercial style. Chief Judge of the show is Dr. Dan Bridy, University of Missouri. Several thousand locker operators attending the convention where they are learning the latest technological developments and sales techniques in the frozen food locker industry. The convention features 75 commercial exhibits and is being addressed by outstanding leaders in government and industry, including Ezra Taft Benson, Sec. Of US Dept. of Ag.
