Donna L. Pefley
Donna L. Pefley, 82, of 115 N. 24th St., who died Monday in Valley Nursing Home, came to Carbon County in 1900 with her parents, Mr. And Mrs. A.M. Lambert, and settled in Billings in 1927. She had worked as a police matron for the Northern Pacific Railroad, had managed a coffee shop in the Midland Bank, and had a private catering service. Mrs. Pefley was named "Woman of the Year" by the Billings Professional Women's Club. She had been a member of the board for Family Service, and a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She was born July 21, 1895, in Iowa. After attending Montana schools, she taught in towns neighboring Billings. She married Sam Pefley. Survivors include a niece, Paula Rix, of Riverton, Wyo., a nephew, Jack Lambert, of Texas, and a cousin, Pauline Jones, of 910 13th St. W. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Michelotti-Sawyers West Chapel. Burial will be in Mountview Cemetery.

Pefley - Donna L. Pefley, 82, of 115 N. 24th St. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Michelotti-Sawyers West Chapel, with Rev. D. James Fitzhugh officiating. Interment will be in Mountview Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church.
