The observance of the 50th anniversary of the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Robert LaFoLLETTE at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred BELLES was an enjoyable affair. There were about 50 callers on Sat. afternoon and a much larger number on Sunday. IN the receiving line with Mr. and Mrs. LaFollette were Mrs. Belles; Mrs. Arthur Spencer; Mrs. Ella McMurtry; Will Peyton and Rev. Harry Davis. The rooms were decorated with yellow roses and yellow chrysanthemums. The center piece on the dining room table was yellow chrysanthemums with yellow candles in crystal holders, with the beautiful wedding cake. Two songs were rendered by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Spencer of Fayettesville, Ark and a short talk was made by Rev Harry Davis, pastor of the Russellville Christian Church.

Robert LaFollette, of Russellville, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Belles, south of Milligan on Sunday morning. He is survived by the wife and another daughter, Mrs. Hallie Spencer of Fayetteville, Ark. For a number of years he lived near Milligan and was connected with the Christian Church at this place. Funeral services at the Russellville Christian Church on Tuesday afternoon were in charge of Rev. Robert Lewis.
