ALLEN KENWORTHY DEAD.
A Pioneer of Boone County and Well-Known Resident of Sugar Creek Township.
THORNTOWN, Ind., May 24 - Allen Kenworhty, for a half a century a resident of this county, died last evening at 10 o'clock from cancer of the mouth. He was born in Highland County, Ohio December 25, 1819. He came to Boone county, Indiana, with his father in 1829 and settled on the farm where he lived until his death. This farm was bought by his father at the land sale at Crawfordsville in 1829. He was married to Elizabeth Long January 23, 1843. Three children were born to them, two sons, Squire and Oliver, and one daughter, who died young.
The funeral occur from the late home tomorrow at 10 o'clock. Interment in the old cemetery.
