Crawfordsville Weekly Review, November 11, 1919
Death caused by hardening of the arteries and pneumonia came to Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Long at 8:00 o'clock yesterday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Corn, who lives two miles northeast of Whitesville. The deceased had been ill two years prior to her death. She was born in Hendricks County, August 4, 1838, the daughter of John and Mary Keeny. She was married twice during her life, the first time, April 13, 1855, to David Jameson, who died in 1864. In 1880, she married James Long. She was a member of the Methodist Church of New Market. Everyone considered her a woman of beautiful character and kindly disposed towards all. She is survived by four children of the first marriage, George and William Jameson, both of Oakland, Cal.; John Jameson, who lives in Colorado, and Mrs. George Corn, a resident of Whitesville, and one son by the second marriage, Birt Long, Mobile, Ala. Ten grandchildren survive her, also. The funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the home of her daughter at Whitesville, and the burial will be made in the Harshbarger Cemetery near Ladoga. The Rev. Smith of Ladoga will officiate at both services.
