Yeddo
Mrs. Eleanor Sowers, lifelong resident of this community died at her home here early today following a short illness. Mrs. Sowers passed away at 1:30 o'clock this morning, death resulting from pneumonia. The deceased who was well known here was b. near Wallace Sept. 28, 1836. She was the daughter of Henry and Mary Keller. Her husband, Samuel E. Sowers preceded her in death. Mrs. Sowers was a member of the Yeddo Christian church. Four daughters and two sons survive, Mrs. Mary Pierson of Kingman, Mrs. Harriet Allen of Wallace, Mrs. James Wilder of Yeddo and Mrs. Viola Pierceson also of Yeddo. George Sowers of near Waveland and Huston Sowers of Wallace. 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren also survive. The funeral services will be held on Sun morning at 11 o'clock from the Centennial church 1 mile east of Yeddo with the Rev. HH McHargue in charge. Interment will be made in the cemetery nearby.
