French JEFFREY, 72 farmer residing north of Yountsville died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday at Culver Hospital following a two-week illness. He formerly was in the grocery business. Born Dec 2, 1890 at Shannondale, Mr. J was the s/o Wm. and Mary Ann Jeffrey. He was married Dec 8, 1908 to Grace G. Shryer who died March 28, 1963. Surv are a dau, Mrs. Francis Babe Hoffa of Crawfordsville; a brother Sherman Jeffrey of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Grizzle and Mrs. Alice Howard both of Martinsville; a granddaughter and two great grandch. Funeral serv will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sat at Hunt & Son funeral home in charge of Rev. John Servies. burial in Oak Hill Cem. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
