Miss May JARVIS, retired drapery maker and resident of Indianapolis since 1909 died Sunday at 8 p.m. in Friendship Home in Bloomingdale. She had been a resident there since March 26 and prior to that resided in Indianapolis. Miss Jarvis was born Oct 14, 1880, daughter of Scott and Martha Ellen Sutton Jarvis. She never married. Miss Jarvis formerly was employed by Richard Reynolds Co. in Indianapolis as drapery maker. She was a member of Englewood Christian Church, Indianapolis. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and a cousin, Cecil McMullen. Funeral services for Miss Jarvis were at 2 p.m. Wed at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial in Bethany Cemetery at Marshall.
