MRS. STEPHENS DIES FUNERAL SATURDAY
Mrs. Frances M. Stephens, a native of Montgomery County, died
Thursday morning at the Bayless Nursing Home, 613 Pike St. She
had been ill for five months with cardiac illness. The daughter
of Henry and Mary Hughes Jackson*, Mrs. Stephens was born Feb 13,
1874. She was married in October 1907, to Eli Allen Stephens, who
preceded her in death. Mrs. Stephens was a member of the First
Christian Church in Crawfordsville Surviving are one brother,
Homer Jackman*, Rt (?) Crawfordsville; one sister, Mrs. Henreich
Stephens, Rt. 3 Crawfordsville; four stepchildren, Ed Stephens,
Rt (.?) Crawfordsville, Earl Stephens, Rt 2 Waynetown, Ray
Stephens, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Lydia Hudson, Crawfordsville:
four grandchildren, (?) great-grandchildren, and nieces and
nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at
Grenard and Servies Mortuary in Waynetown. Burial will be in the
Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. Friends may pay their respects at
the funeral home.
