Edna Marie Habicht, 81, Crawfordsville, passed away at 9:00 AM Tuesday in Ben Hur Home, Crawfordsville.
Miss Habicht was an employee of Bell Telephone for 39 years, starting as an operator and retiring in dial assignment. She was a volunteer airplane spotter during the war and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
Miss Habicht was born December 19, 1925 in Clinton, Indiana to William A. and Mae Spaun Habicht.
Survivors include her twin brother Elmer (Esther) Habicht, Indianapolis, as well as a niece, two nephews, two great-nieces, two great-nephews and three great-great-nieces.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 26 at 10 AM in Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville with Rev. Steven Blaydes officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services Monday morning.
