Mrs. Roxie Ruth Cosby, 54, died suddenly at her home two miles north of Whitesville early Sunday night. She was stricken with an attack of acute indigestion about 6 p.m. and died within a few minutes. Born August 31, 1891 near Mace, she was the daughter of Ruth and Ella Galloway (sic - should be Robert). She was married March 13, 1930 to Earl Cosby. For many years she had been a member of the Mace Methodist Church. The survivors include the husband who operates a farm four sisters, Mrs. Ida Lauthers, Mrs. Eva Peterson, Mrs. Maude Grubb, and Mrs. Myrtle Galey and one brother, Charles Galloway. Another brother, Russell Galloway was fatally injured when he was struck by an automobile at Indianapolis several months ago. Friends may pay their respects at the Hunt & Sons Funeral Home.
