Mrs. Mary Alice ALLEN, 78, died Monday at the home of her daughter Mrs. JL Rice of Marshall. She was born Dec 25, 1856 near Russellville, the daughter of Samuel and Malinda Galey. She was married in 1874 to James H. Allen. He died 4 years ago. Survivors are 3 daughters; Mrs. Effie Rice, Mrs. Mary Seybold and Mrs. Fannie Clark, 10 grandchildren and 5 greats.
