Marsh Galey - robbed
Marsh Galey, living So. of the city, had his house robbed Tuesday, while the family were in town. His mother stayed at home, but just at that time she had gone down the road to one of the neighbors. Will Coons, a brother-in-law of Mr. Galey's coming over to the house, heard some one walking and supposing it to be some member of the family who had returned, he went into the house and was confronted by a man with a revolver who snapped it at him twice, it missing fire both times. Mr. Coons did not stand upon the order of his going, but left at once and the thief made good his escape, carrying with him jewelry to the amount of $32 some clothing, a valise and a check on the First National Bank for $150.
