Walter D. FLETCHER, 88 Rt 1, Darlington died Tuesday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. Been in failing health several months. Farmed all his life - educated in old Bissel Ridge School at Elmdale. Born Sept 24, 1887 in Benton County, he was a son of Foster A. and May C. Smith Fletcher married Feb 19, 1916 Zora Lehman who died Aug 10, 1969. Surviving: son, Max A; daughter Marths (Wesley) Tribbett; sister Mrs. Helen Luse; 6 grandchildren and two greats. Services Burkhart Funeral Home 2 p.m. Thursday burial in Oak Hill.
