Rosa Ellis
Rosa E. Coons, 83, of 708 E. Market St., died at 7:05 p.m. Monday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Crawfordsville.
Born Dec. 11, 1892, she was a daughter of Joseph and Martha McKinsey Ellis of Montgomery County. She married Orner B. Coons on Dec. 17. 1910. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17. 1976.
Survivors are two sons, Ernest and the Rev. Eldon of Brownsburg; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Berry of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Fruth of Speedway; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Eldon Coons officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
