Mrs. Jennie Ellis VanCleave, widow of the late John VanCleave, and a former resident of this city, died Saturday morning at her home in Columbus Miss according to word received by relatives here. No details as to her illness or cause of her death were given in the message received in this city. Mrs. VanCleave's early life was spent in Crawfordsville or the near vicinity but she had spent the past 36 years in Tenn and Miss. She visited here frequently her last visit having been made two years ago in July. Her late husband, John VanCleave preceded her in death on Nov 16, 1934. Surviving are one son, John VanCleave Jr. of Columbus, Ms a stepsister, Mrs. Gertrude Foster of this city and a stepbrother, Clarence Patton of Indianapolis. Bert VanCleave of this city was a brother-in-law of the deceased. Mrs. VanCleave will be buried beside her husband at Columbus, MS
