Henry Ellis, a former resident died at his home in Rossville, Ill at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning and was buried Thursday afternoon. He was an uncle of John C. Canine and married Miss Miranda McMains, a sister of Mrs. H.A. Pratt, Mrs. James Alfrey and Mrs. W.R. Kelso. He leeaves one son, Charles. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity and Christian Church and was about 70 years of age. H.A. Pratt and wife, WR Kelso and wife and Mrs. Alfrey attended the funeral.
