Mrs. Taylor Shephard, whose home was just north of town, died Saturday and was interred at Old Union Cemetery on Monday after services conducted by Rev. Claude Travis. Mrs. Shepherd whose maiden name was Mary Elliot, was 49 years of age. Death was caused by cerebral softening.
