Fred EDMUNDS, 70, of Rt. 4, Rockville died Wednesday at 8:45 p.m. at his home following a lingering illness. He was a retired Mecca Clay plant employee. He was born in Parke County Feb 12, 1887 the son of Reuben and Emma Craig Edmonds. (sic) Surviving are the wife, Rosa; two sons, George Edmonds of Mecca and Lloyd Edmonds of Montezuma; 3 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Burks of Rockville; Mrs. Marjorie McKeown of Mishawaka and Mrs. Doris Fisher of Rockville; a brother, Sam Edmonds of Visalia, Calif; four sisters, Mrs. Letha Myers of Rockville; Mrs. Bonnie Downey of Mecca; Mrs. Margaret Cox of Anderson and Mrs. Marie Anderson of Clinton; 15 grandchildren and 13 greats. Funeral services were held at the Barnes Funeral Home, Rockville at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. JO Trousdale officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Catlin.
