Mrs. Pauline F. Galey, daughter of Henry and Isabelle Armstrong was born Feb 11, 1843 died Jan 7, 1900. She was married to Benjamin M. Galey Nov 3, 1863. To them were born 5 children: Fisher B. Galey; Mrs. Frank Seybold; Henry L. Galey, deceased; Mrs. Leslie Carrington and Sallie may Galey. She also leaves a husband, mother, sister and five brothers. She united with the Christian Church at the age of 18 and always lived a faithful, consistent Christian life, and died with the full assurance of a better life to come. We mourn her not for we expect to meet her in a better world. She was a loving and affectionate mother and a dutiful wife. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. WH Brown of Greencastle at the family residence south of Browns Valley at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning, Jan 9 1900.
