On Monday of last week Wesley Sutton slipped from a a hay stack,
lighting in such a way that his knee-cap was burst, allowing the joint
water to escape. He will probably be a cripple for life.

Friends here have received the news of the unexpected death of
Wesley Sutton at this home in Cherryville, Kansas, on June 9. Mr.
Sutton was born about seventy years ago on a farm near where the
Greene school stands. He lived for some time on the Warrick farm
south of town before removing to Kansas about thirty years ago.
He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Rose Gossett of
Veedersburg, and by a number of grown children. He was a member
of the Christian Church.
