Note: Maynard was the son of John Alexander and Laura McDade Spruhan and was born as Samuel Maynard in the town of Waveland on the 8th day of July in 1897. He passed away in Chicago Illinois 2 March 1981 where he worked at American Express for several years.
On his WWI draft card he was listed as having brown eyes, brown hair - could be incorrect, but don't think he ever married. - kbz
