Robert Smith was here from Crawfordsville last week, taking out oil
leases for Dr. Detchon and Marshall Nye. As soon as sufficient acreage
is leased a test well will be put down west town. These gentlemen have
had experience in other oil fields and they consider the indications to
be promising.
