Note: William A. Simms, Waveland, Indiana above contact is Matthew Scott's only sibling.  Strangely, he would died in August of 1942.

Note 2: Odd that he did not list his wife who lived another 13 years in Tulsa with him.  His mother had passed away a week before he filled out the WWII information.  In the 1940 census his wife Bessie is NOT with he and their only child, Robert (age 14 with his father).  So, they may have divorced.  #410 North Lincoln Street

Note 3: He is buried in Woodland Memorial Park Cemeter, Sand Springs, Tulsa County, Oklahoma by himself -- Matthew Scott Simms Indiana Cpl Co G 309 Ammo Train WWI

Note 4:  Their son, Robert Daniel was called Bobby Dan and was not only in WWII (S1 US Navy) but a Supreme Court Justicein Oklahoma. Buried in same cemetery.  His wife, Patricia Jean Cook (married 16 Feb 1951 and had at least one child, Robert Dan Simms, Jr) is on the same stone with a notation "Mrs. Judge!
