Mrs. Daniel Shaver has on her farm of 502 acres, 85 acres of
hay to be cut and saved this year, 282 acres in blue grass for
grazing her stock on; 90 acres in corn that has been cultivated
once and the larger part twice; 5 acres in oats and 40 acres in
wheat in all 502 acres. 50 head of hogs; 50 head of as fine 2,3
and 4-year-old butchers stock as there is in the state; 65 head
of sheep and poultry, geese, ducks, etc. too numerous to mention.
all of this immense farm is managed by Mrs. Shaver and her son
Sam. There is no leakage and they are making money fast. (under
