He died 9 June 1943 in Montgomery County
Had at least one son, Jerey born about 1910. In the 1930 census Jere age 20 is clerk in Claude and his brother, Sam R's grocery. Also living with he and Sam is Sam's mother-in-law, Margaret age 72 a widowe, born in Indiana with both parents born Indiana and Sam's daughter, Florence age 17.
