Mrs. L.M. McLeod and Mrs. J.S. Fullenwider gave a miscellaneous
shower at the home of Mrs. McLoed for Miss Hazel Reeves last Wednesday
afternoon. The reception room was beautifully decorated with potted
plants and cut flowers. The colors were white and green. The dining room
was in pink and white. Ribbon streamers were hung from the hanging lamp
to the four corners of the table fastened with small boquets of pink
carnations. The bride elect was led to the dining room where delightful
refreshments were served. Miss Mary Pope presided at the punch bowl.
Carnations tied with pink and white ribbons were used as favors. The
presents were brought into the west parlor where the bride elect sat at a
large table and unwrapped them. Each offering had an appropriate good
advice verse attached which Miss Reeves read.
