McMullen - George

George McMullen had an unpleasant experience last week that
might easily have had fatal results. He was driving home from
Waveland and thinks he must have fallen asleep. As he has not
practiced driving in his sleep, his machine left the road and
upset, turning completely around. The accident happened in front
of Alvy Howard's home. Mrs. Edith Palin witnessed the accident
and on reaching the scene, found Mr. McMullen lying in the top of
the machine, covered with broken glass, but without a scratch. He
was conscious but seemed dazed. John Wilder went out and hauled
the wreck back to town. A broken windshield and radius rod
covered the damage to the machine, and a severe bruise in the
side was all the damage that Mr. McMullen suffered! - typed by kbz
