People of Crawfordsville and the Methodist Episcopal ministers of this district, will regret to learn that Rev. W.E. McKenzie is about to leave this city and make his home in Indianapolis. This move on the part of Rev. McKenzie follows his appointment as corresponding secretary of the Methodist Episcopal Hospital in the capital city, succeeding Dr. George W. Switzer of Lafayette, who resigned fro m the position Tuesday. Rev. McKenzie has decided to move at once to Indianapolis in order that he may give his new work his entire attention and time. McKenzie is now superintendent of the Crawfordsville district of the Methodist Episcopal Church but will resign from that position as soon as arrangements can be made to appoint a successor. Dr. Switzer had been secretary of the hospital less than a year. He was named assistant to Dr. D.M. Wood of Lafayette in September 1909 and at the death of Mr. Wood in May 1910, was named secretary by the executive committee. Members of the executive committee passed a resolution commending the work of Dr. Switzer during his service and commenting especially upon the agreeable relations of Dr. Switzer with the committee - typed by kbz
