Lige Myers was in town Saturday visiting around. He returned to
Baltimore, Sunday going by way of Indianapolis. He works for the United
States Chemical Co making Acetone, a powerful solvent used in the making
of high explosives. Labor is scarce and he was looking of some of the
local boys to go back with him. - kbz

Lige Myers writes to his father, John N. Myers that the close of the
war will make some changes in the kind of work he is doing in Baltimore,
but that he will still remain with the company and will go to France
sometime next year to superintend some work for them. He is so necessary
to them that they obtained exemption for him from military service. - kbz
