Mr. and Mrs. L.F. Boling, 801 S. 13th St, Terre Haute, has announced the marriage of their daughter, Katherine to Kenneth Milligan, son of Mrs. Ruby A. Milligan of Waveland which took place Friday afternoon, August 23, at four o'clock.  The marriage vows were read by Rev. OC Starn at the bride's home in the presence of the immediate families. The attendants were MIss Martha Boling, sister of the bride and Milford Milligan,  brother of the groom.  The bride wore a white chiffon sheer dress and carried a mouline bouquet of white roses.  The maid of honor wore a peach-colored dress and carried a colonial bouquet of talisman roses with delphinium.  Following a wedding trip they will be at home in Waveland after Sept. 1.  Mrs. Milligan is a graduate of Indiana State Teachers Colege where she was a member of the Lambda Delta Phi Sorotity and Kappa Delta Pi Honor fraternity.  For the past several years she has taught in the Waveland HS.  Mr. Milligan graduated from Wabash College where he is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  He is engaged in the insurance business in Waveland.  Mr. Milligan was for several years associated with the Journal-Review in the advertising business.

J. Kenneth Milligan, 97, Crawfordsville, died 5:45 p.m. Sunday in Ben H ur Nursing Home.

Mr. Milligan worked in the Journal Review advertising department, as a re al estate agent, as an insurance agent, and served 10 years as a Trust Off icer for the Elston Bank & Trust Company. His memberships included Waba sh Ave. Presbyerian Church, serving as Elder and Trustee, first preside nt of the Churchmen United, Waveland Masonic Lodge 300, Scottish Rite Vall ey Indianapolis and Montgomery County Board of Realtors.

He was born Oct. 9, 1908, at Waveland, to James M. and Ruby Strong Milliga n. He graduated from Waveland High School in 1926 and Wabash College in 19 30. On Aug. 23, 1940, he married Katherine Elizabeth Boling at Terre Haut e. She died April 10, 2005.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth J. Smithka, Crawfordsville; thr ee sons, Thomas K. Milligan, Crawfordsville, Timothy D. Milligan, West Laf ayette, Samuel Milligan, South Bend; two brothers, Dale Milligan, Crawford sville, Roland Milligan, Waveland; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandc hildren.

Two brothers, Richard and Milford Milligan, and a sister, Jane Milligan, a re deceased.

Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Saturday at Wabash Avenue Presbyter ian Church, with Dr. John VanNuys officiating. Burial will be in Presbyterian Cemetery, Waveland.

Friends may visit 4-8 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorial contributions m ay be made to Wabash College, 301 W. Wabash Ave., Crawfordsville or Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund, 307 S. Washington St., Crawfordsville.
