Lynch - Mike
Source: Crawfordsville Indiana Review Aug 6, 1918 page 4
On Wednesday Mike Lynch will retire as turnkey at the mail after a term covering a period of four years. If Sheriff Prewitt has chosen his successor he has not made it known. Mike leaves the position voluntarily and with the kindliest feeling for all with whom he has been associated and while he has no immediate plans for the future will soon be engaged in some other occupation but will rest up for awhile. In the position Mr. Lynch made an exceptional officer. He was always kind and considerate of the feelings of those unfortunate enough to be committed to his care if permitted to do so and was a good man for the place. - typed and
