Mrs. Edward Peck received a paper from Long Beach, California containing an account of the celebrating of GH Linebarger's 93 anniversary. His daughters, Mrs. Iva Scott and Miss Mary Linebarger, entertained. Mr. Linebarger's picture was given in the paper showing him cutting the huge cake that held the 93 candles. Many around here remember him quite well and most of the people know his son John who makes his home in Indianapolis - kbz

Word was received yesterday of the death of Rev. George Linebarger age 96 at his home in Long Beach, California. The body will be brought back, accompanied by his daughter, Miss Mary for burial at West Union.
