Notes: William Lidster (Lidester) was born in August 1824 and departed life on the 11th of July 1906 in Montgomery County, Indiana. He came on the ship, Cambria arriving on the 17trh of July 1837 with his parents, William and Sarah and their eight children: Ann, John, Lindy, William, Richard, Sarah, Thomas and Mary. Evidently, his father worked in timber. The ship had left from Hull, England and arrived in New York. It is believed the family went to Harrison Township in Vigo County, Indiana as the three younger children are found with a William Lidster age 54 (born about 1796 - he was 41 when he came to America in 1837 which equals near the same). The wife Mary had passed before 1850. His brother Richard stayed in that area.
