KELLEY, Perley - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Perley Kelley writes that he, with 1300 other soldiers will leave San Franciso for the Philippines today. They will be 31 days on the trip. He belongs to Co. E 23rd Infantry and likes the service immensely. He says the troops are given a great deal of liberty at San Francisco and are only afraid that the fighting will be over before they get to Manila.
