JONES, Edgar L. - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

An open house is being planned for Sunday, July 20 in the Ben Hur Home, 1375 S Grant Ave, to observe the 92nd birthday of a resident, Edgar L. Jones. Relatives and Mrs. Williams will be the hosts from2 until 5 o’clock that afternoon. Mr. Jones was born July 13, 1866, on a farm near Crawfordsville. He was the son of George W and Mary Woodruff Jones. He attended Montgomery County schools and in 1890 married Jessie L Ebrite who died in 1958. Mr. Jones was active in the Methodist Church at New Richmond and taught a Sunday School class of boys for many years.
