Marcus Holland who took to himself a wife only last fall, has departed to
parts unknown, leaving her destitute.  On Monday, he took his wife to the
home of his aunt, Mrs. William Perkins. Then he came to Waveland cashed a
check on Sam Milligan, Jr. returned home and packed his clothes and left on
the CH & D train.  At Roachdale he took a Monon train north. There has been
no trouble between him and his wife but he was in debt. Besides store bills,
he owned about $400 in borrowed money. He was a good worker and well liked.
