Patrons of the newspaper -- "These are gentlemen whose advertisements appear in the   Review"

Mr. Harter is a very liberal advertiser. In the space of a   half column, the very round, Uncle David keeps it before the   public that he has an elegant stock of dry goods, carpets,   notions, etc.

Oldest man in the city is the father of Dr. Ensminger living on Main St who is now in the 98th year of his age. He is in fair health. Next oldest is Mr. Rice, father of John Rice. Should he live until April he will be 94 years old. He walks once or twice a week from his home on South Washington street to his son’s house on Water Street, a distance of four squares and is not complaining much of his health. The next is Mr. Paire living on Market Street. His age is claimed to be 92.  This man is a wonder at that age. He works daily on the street and is as good a man as the average laborer of 50.  He aided in cutting the big ice crop for Martin & Son last month and made a full hand. He earns generally from $1.25 to $1.50 per day and is ready to work at any employment. It seems entirely out of place for any one at his age to be engaged at work. The next aged men are David Harter, IF Wade and Elder MM Vancleave whose ages are about the same, being we believe 87 years.
