B. H. GRAVES, livery, and farmer, Ladoga, is a native of Randolph Co NC and is the son of Leonard and Mary (CALICOTT) Graves, who came to Scott Twp, Montgomery Co IN in the Spring of 1833, and resided on the same farm till their death. The father died in 1860 and mother in 1866. Mr. Graves was raised on the farm where his father settled when he came to this County. Farming has been his occupation all his life. In 1856 he marr. Miss Sarah BROOKSHIER who was b. in Montgomery Co IN in 1833. She is the daughter of Joel and Sarah (SLOCK) Brookshier, who were natives of NC and came to this co. about 1830. Her father died about 1863 and mother in 1855. Mr. G.'s family are; Homer P; Martin C; Cary H and Francis E. - typed by kbz
