Fitchey - George

George
Fitchey of this city should be given a position as fireman on the city
department. At the fire last Monday he was of great assistance in getting the
fire under control. He has had many years of experience with the Indianapolis
Fore Department and would make a good man for the place. He knows where to
fight a fire, more so than some now connected with the department as they were
throwing water on an iron roof instead of cutting through where the fire
was. The city needs another man and no
better selection could be made than that of Fitchey. During every fire of any
importance they are compelled to call upon citizens to help them.
