Dr. RUFUS M. EARL

It is believed by this researcher that Rufus M. Earl born May 16, 1823 in New York was married to Sarah Krug (14 May 1848 in Montgomery County) and they had at least Albert and Caroline. Little can be found about him, other than Dr. Duncan (his brother-in-law, their wives being sisters (Mary was Dr. Duncan's wife and they were daughters of William Augustus and Elizabeth Jones Krug) ) studied under him and that Dr. Earl is found in the 1850 Montgomery County (Pleasant Hill area) census.
Note: Since the book, I have found them in Cherokee County Kansas, buried in the Spickelmeyer Cemetery. Some time after the Civil War he and his family moved to Lola, Kansas.
