After 3 days illness from scarlet fever, Alvin R. DIXON, son of Jacob & Harriet Dixon died last Sunday morning. The sudden death of the bright little one, was a great shock to his parents and sisters. He was nearly 10 years old.

Episcopal services were conducted at the residence of the family on Tuesday afternoon, and the remains interred at Oak Hill Cemetery. - kbz
