DAVIDSON, D.H., PO Whitesville, Farmer and Stock Raiser, son of WF & Mary HOSTETTER Davidson. Was b. July 26, 1852. Nov 12, 1874, he marr. Miss Saloma E, daughter of Jacob M. and Mary HARSHBERGER of Clark Twp, and settled upon the Davidson homestead, which he had previously purchased. Children's names: Warner M, b. Sept 23, 1875; Homer J, b. July 21, 1877. Mr. Davidson is full of industry and enterprise; and his noble and affectionate wife ably seconds his efforts. -- typed by kbz

David Henry DAVIDSON, farmer and stock raiser, Whitesville, was born July 26, 1852, and is the brother of Jasper N. Davidson. He had a good common education. His mother died when he was 2 years and six months and his father when he was 11. At the age of 16 he went in partnership at farming with his brother, William S. Mr. Ddavidson now has 201 1/4 acres of good land, and resides on the old homestead, the place where he was born. He was married on November 12, 1874 to Miss Saloma E. HARSHBARGER. She was born Jan 11, 1854. They have 3 boys: Warner M, b. Sept 23, 1875; Homer J, July 21, 1876; Cline F, Aug 16, 1879. Mr. D. is a member of the Detective Association, a democrat and has been a successful farmer. He is a great reader and a valuable member of the community in which he lives. -- typed by kbz
