Richard Archibald Brush, born in Tyrone County Ireland about 1710 and died In Augusta
County, Virginia about 1763. Year of immigration is unknown. He married Anne Williamson
who was born in Virginia about 1700, died ? They had 7 children. 6th born was Blakeley
Brush.
Blakeley Brush, born 1742 at Augusta County Virginia, died 1814 at Shelby County Kentucky.
He married Janet Gilmore, born 1745 at Fife, Scotland, United Kingdom, died? They had 6
children. 3rd born was James (John) Brush.
James Brush, born 1765 at Augusta County, Virginia , died 1840 at Montgomery County
Indiana. He married Agnes Cavin, born about 1794 in Rockbridge, Virginia, died ? They had 7
children. 5th born was David Cavin Brush.
David Cavin Brush, born 1815 at Shelby County Kentucky, died 1879 at Cloverdale, Sonoma
County California. He married Perlina Watson, born 1818 at ?, died 1847 at Waveland,
Montgomery County Indiana. They had 1 child, William Thomas (WT) Brush. In 1850, David
married Rachel Ann Curtis, born 1837 at Hendricks County Indiana, died 1879 at Cloverdale,
Sonoma County, California. They had 3 children.
WT Brush, born 1841 at Montgomery County Indiana, died 1910 at Cloverdale, Sonoma
County, California. He married Lucy Walker, born 1848 at Ulster, Bradford County,
Pennsylvania, died 1929 at Cloverdale, Sonoma County, California. They had 4 children. 2nd
born was Fred Walker Brush.
Fred Walker Brush, born 1869 at Cloverdale, Sonoma County, California, died 1924 at
Cloverdale, Sonoma, California. He married Eglina (Lena) Cheeks, born 1872 at Washington
DC, died 1930 at Sonoma County California. They had 3 children. 3rd born was Fred Walker
Brush Jr.
Fred Walker Brush Jr., born 1902 in Cloverdale, Sonoma, California, died 1986 at Sacramento,
Sacramento, California. He married Helen Kessler, born 1905, at Sacramento, Sacramento,
California, died 1987 at Sacramento. They had 2 children. 1st born was Gerald Jack Brush.
