Note: In the 1870 census, he is listed in Franklin, Johnson County, Indiana, age 30 listed as a House painter b Ohio. His wife, Amanda age 25 born in Illinois and daughter (age 1) Zola were in the household as well as a dentist, Louis Bebee age 39 born in Pennsylvania.
According to the Lafayette, Tippecanoe County Census of 1800 he was born in Ohio about 1840.. His father was born in New York and mother, Vermont. He was a physician, married to Amanda and had two children: Zola age 11 and Iola age 9.
The 1900 census finds him in Grant County (Center Twp) #603 boardering with Lucian Gilbert.. A Physician he is listed
In 1910, he is listed as a Chropodist (ankle, foot specialist) living in Knightstown, in Henry County, Indiana working full-time at age 69 and living alone.
