The above is an excellent likeness of one of the most enterprising young business men of this city. The features of T.E. Albright are not nearly so familiar with the public as are the good qualities of his bread. He had a modern establishment on Chestnut Street in a building of his own and especially fitted up for his line of work. He has served a long apprenticeship as a baker and has now been in business for himself 10 years. Having intelligence of a high order he has put it to use in his chosen profession as a skilled baker.
Not only is his bread sweet and wholesome, largely due to the fact that he uses only the best flour, but he is also a cake and pastry baker of talent, In the last few days he has added a patent machine dough mixer that renders the work much easier for his men and also gives the bread more body and life. He employs four bakers and the capacity of 3,000 loaves a day will soon be taxed to keep up with orders as his bread is sold in every grocery store in the city except two and it is interesting to note that people go into stores and call for the Albright bread as against any other bread offered.
Mr. Albright uses three wagons in waiting on the trade. Not only does he supply the trade of Crawfordsville but also numerous other towns in the county. While the Sunday Star is running this series of photogravures of representative citizens it could not forbear calling attention especially to the original of this likeness. He is eminently an enterprising man
He gives to his business every moment of his time and from insignificant importance it has grown to that size where it is necessary for him to buy his flour by the car load lots. All success to such snap and ability should be the tribute of the people - typed by kbz
