Coroner's Inquests.
On the Body of John Emery.

I, C. E. Trainor, coroner of Daviess county, did on the 28th day of May, 1901, in the city of Washington, Indiana, examine the body of John Emery and hold a coroner's inquest thereon.

I find that the said John Emery came to his death from injuries received while in the discharge of his duties as belt repairer in the B. & O. S-W. shops in said city by being caught in an overhead pulley and shaft, and that the shock resulting from said injuries caused his death.

I further find that John Emery was a resident of the said city of Washington and was 21 years of age, about 5 feet; 8 inches in height, with light hair and eyes and fair complexion.  He was of American nationality.

C. E. TRAINOR,
Coroner Daviess County,
