Martin County INGenWeb and Martin County Historical Society. "This is an abandoned cemetery located on a flat in the woods between US 50 and the B & O Railroad, east of the "Overlook" west of Shoals. It is said there are about 50 graves here, and that many had stones at one time. However, there are now only two stones with inscriptions and a few remaining uninscribed field stones."......Martin County Historical Society 1971. |
