Millard Ray Anderson,
age 37 of Nashville, TN formerly of Paoli, IN passed away Sunday, May
17, 2009 in Nashville.
Millard was born in Salem, IN, on August 6, 1971
to Millard Anderson and Judith (Moffatt) Corbin. He attended Springs
Valley Schools and also schools in Hamilton, IL. He was an avid
fisherman and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his father and
stepmother, Millard and Nina Anderson of French Lick, IN, his mother,
Judith Corbin of Hamilton, IL, his son, Zach Frazier of Nashville, TN,
daughter, Jasmine Grissom of Paoli, IN, brother, Jonathan Anderson of
French Lick, IN, sisters, Melinda Lamar of Sacramento, CA and Jessica
Rockhold of Canton, MO, and his best friend, Marvin Frazier of
Nashville, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by T.L. Pinnick Mortuary,
785 South Bears Bend Rd., French Lick, where the family will receive
friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 21, 2009. A memorial
service will be held at 6:00 PM with Bro. Randy Stevens officiating.
Dolores
Kinnick Benge,
82, passed away at 8:10 a.m. on August 11, 2013 at the Loogootee
Nursing Center. Born in Greenwood, Indiana on June 26, 1931 to Albert
Leroy and Dorothy Aaron Kinnick, she was a lifelong resident of Shoals.
She was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture at the A.S.C.S.
office for twenty years. In 1991 she began working as a private duty
caregiver and continued until her health began to fail. She is survived
by four sons, Wayne and Cindy Benge of Kouts
Mark and Cindy Benge of Clarksville
Greg and Patricia Benge of Shoals
Joseph and Jody Benge of Shoals
One daughter, Darlene Benge of Shoals
13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
One
brother Robert Kinnick and one sister Mary Able of Freetown She was
preceded in death by parents, a brother, and one granddaughter Laura
Benge. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14,
2013 at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals, and a funeral service
will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Anderson Cemetery. Pastor Randy Stevens will officiate at

Beverly Diane Guthrie,
66, of Hillham (Rusk), passed away at 7:50 AM, Tuesday, January 28,
2014 at Medco Health and Rehabilitation Center in French Lick.
Diane
was born October 25, 1947 in Bedford, Indiana, to Edwin and Doris
(Lanis) Crane. She married Marvin “Eddie” Guthrie on June 7, 1968 and
he survives.
Diane had attended Tunnelton High School was a
homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of
the Church at Powell Valley.
She is survived by her husband,
Marvin "Eddie” Guthrie and daughter, Kimberly Dawn Guthrie both of
Rusk, a brother Larry Crane, step brothers, Greg and Larry Joyner all
of Bedford, sister, Linda Kleindist of Hobart and half-sister, Heidi
Wagner and step-sister, Billie Ann Whitis both of Bedford.
Preceding her in death were her parents.

will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at T.L. Pinnick
Mortuary, 785 South Bears Bend Road, French Lick, with Rev. Randy
Stevens and Bro. Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial in the Anderson
Cemetery near Powell Valley . Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00
PM on Friday, January 31, 2014 and again on Saturday, February 1, 2014
from 9:00 AM until service time at T.L. Pinnick Mortuary .
Nickolas James Holt,
age 34 of Washington, formally of Shoals, passed away Saturday October
15th, 2016 in Washington. He was born October 19th, 1981 in Daviess
County to Terry G. and Vicki (Pendley) Holt.
He was employed by G.E. Tree Service in Petersburg, Indiana. He worked
in tree service for 20 years and was a tree climber.
He
is survived by his father, Terry and Rhonda Holt of Loogootee, Mother,
Vicki and Eddie Hakes of Shoals, Grandparents, Wayne and Geraldine
Pendley of Shoals. Great Grandmother, Emma Merchand of Washington.
Three children, Dakota Holt of Shoals, Alyssa Gerber and Lucas Holt of
Washington. One Step-son, Ashton Gerber also of Washington. He is also
survived by his fiancé Ashley Gerber of Washington, two brothers, Andy
Holt of Shoals, Terry Holt of California and one sister, Kelley Holt of
Las Vegas. Step brothers, Bertrand Britt, Michael Foster, George
Pressley and Jordan Hakes. Step sisters Cherie Pressley, Tiffany
Stinson, Taylor Hakes and Adrianna Riggins. Several aunts and uncles
survive.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James A. and Maggie Holt.
He attended Washington and Shoals Schools. He attended Harvest
Community Fellowship in Washington.
Funeral
Services will be held 1:00pm Friday October, 21st, 2016 at the
Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals with Pastor John Moffatt officiating.
Burial to follow in the Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8
Thursday and until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family of Nickolas Holt at
the funeral home.
Alvin “Dick”
Jones, age 74, of French Lick, Indiana passed
away on December 27th, 2014 at Medco Health and Rehabilitation in
French Lick,
Indiana.
He was born on March 20th, 1940 in Martin County, Indiana to Roscoe
Jones and
Gail (Moore) Jones.
He was preceded in death by his parents, (2) Brother s – Darrell and
Larry, and
(1) Sister – Alma Carolyn Gibbs.
Dick was an over the road truck driver and served his country in the
United
States Army during the Korean Era. He was a member of the Travelers’
Chapel in
Malvern, Arkansas.
He is survived by:

Frank
D. Pendley, 67, of Shoals, Indiana, passed away Thursday,
January 13, 2011 at 3:55 p.m. at the Medco Center in French Lick.
He
was born in Martin County, Indiana on July 8, 1943 to George and
Juanita Nelson Pendley. He married Deloris Hall on March 19, 1965 in
Orange County, and she survives.
He was a truck driver and a
member of the Natchez Church. Other relatives include daughers Terri
Terry Jones of Orleans; Kelly Alan Hager of Orleans; one son Joshua
Melinda Pendley of Huron; eight grandchildren; and nine
great-grandchildren. Also, three brothers Wayne Pendley of Powell
Valley; Tom Pendley of Roland; and Larry Pendley of French Lick. Two
sisters Jane Archer of Shoals and Robyn Purkhiser of West Baden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son Eric.
Visitation
will be held on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at
1:00 p.m. at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals.
Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the charity
of choice.
Rhea Dawn
Stidham, age 49, of French Lick, Indiana passed away June
9th, 2013 at IU Health Paoli Hospital in Paoli, Indiana.
She was born on June 7th, 1964 in Paoli, Indiana to Larry and Jane
“Pendley” Archer.
She attended the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church and the Freedom Bible
Church, both in French Lick, Indiana.
Rhea
worked as a cook at Fast Eddie’s in West Baden Springs, Indiana and was
a 1982 graduate of Shoals High School in Shoals, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
She is survived by:

Friday at the funeral home.
